Dunskey Estate – A Phenomenal Venue for Your Destination Wedding

Portpatrick is situated in the south of Scotland, a small picturesque port town with stunning views. Right next to Portpatrick is one of my favorite wedding venues where I've had the pleasure to photograph multiple times – Dunskey Estate. You might have already heard about this place as I've covered a few Dunskey weddings. It's a location where you can realize your dream destination wedding. The vast grounds allow you to choose your wedding spot, whether it's in a greenhouse, garden, or even on the cliffs.

First Look and Beautiful Outdoor Ceremony in the Enchanting Gardens

As mentioned above, Dunskey Estate boasts vast grounds with exquisite gardens. It was there that the first look of my couple took place, followed by a touching wedding ceremony. You can't truly grasp the beauty without experiencing it in person – green leaves, the scent of flowers, and harp music playing in the background. I should also mention the nearby greenhouse, where we headed for some splendid first look photos.

Toast and Dance Like a Scene from Dirty Dancing on the Boards of Dunskey Estate

A wedding at Dunskey Estate is filled with attractions. The owners ensure you won't be bored, and this time was no exception. Bird shows, games, and entertainment were part of the day. Emotional speeches and the first dance, a recreation of the iconic Dirty Dancing scene, left a lasting impression. During the golden hour, we ventured to a private beach with breathtaking views to capture their enduring love. To conclude this extraordinary day, a fireworks display lit up the sky.
