Emma and Jonathan's Wedding in Glasgow's Merchant City

This August day will always stay with me. It was in August that I photographed Emma and Jonathan's wedding at Glasgow's Registry Office, and it was amazing. But the story actually starts before the ceremony, because two hours before, we went for a photo session in the city center. As it turned out, the day was August, but very rainy, so we were looking for alternatives for photos.

Industrial Wedding Photos at Princes Square Shopping Center

We started our photo session on a narrow street by Buchannan adorned with neon lights. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we only spent five minutes there, but it was enough for me to get a few fantastic shots. The next place was Princes Square Shopping Center on Buchannan Street. It is a very elegant shopping center with moving stairs, wooden finishes, and a fantastic symmetry. I knew we could hide there and do an industrial-style photo session. The light in this place is perfect because Princes Square Shopping Center has a glass roof which really helps the wedding photographer. The photos turned out really great.

A Stunning Location for Wedding Photos – Italian Center Glasgow

Every time I photograph in the city center, I discover new places for photo sessions. This was also the case this time. Jonathan knew this place and he specifically requested photos there. As soon as the rain stopped, we went to this wonderful place. A beautiful bright square, fountain, and small stream immediately sparked my photographic imagination. We had a lot of fun. But time was running out and the wedding ceremony was approaching fast. We decided to walk around the streets of Glasgow and take a few shots, including by the famous Glasgow City Chambers arches.

Emma and Jonathan's wedding ceremony took place at the Glasgow City Chambers Registry Office. It was the most touching and emotional wedding ceremony I have ever been to. All the guests were very moved, even I, the wedding photographer, was wiping away tears of emotion.
Now, the newlyweds are happily settled in Glasgow, and I hope that these photos will always remind them of their special day.
