The Perfect Elopement Wedding at Glen Etive - A James Bond Filming Location
Towards the end of the season, I had the pleasure of photographing Harriet and Matthew at the stunning Glen Etive. Located in the Scottish Highlands, this spot is known for its breathtaking views, waterfalls, and even the chance to spot some deer. It gained popularity as a filming location for the James Bond movie, Skyfall. If you're seeking a picturesque location for your elopement wedding, Glen Etive can't be beat. Check out the full reportage from this beautiful spot.
Magical Pictures in the Glencoe Valley
Another magical location on my list of top wedding venues in Scotland is the Glencoe Valley. Recognizable to many, the Glencoe Valley, and specifically the observation deck for the Three Sisters, offers stunning views. It was here that I had the pleasure of photographing a couple who traveled all the way from North Carolina for their Glencoe Valley photo shoot. The valley is also home to a white house that has been featured on many Scottish postcards. Click here to see more.
A Fairytale Elopement Wedding on the Ruins of a Castle - Killin, Scottish Highlands
Have you ever dreamed of saying your vows at the ruins of a castle? In Scotland, it's possible! This season, I had the honor of photographing Ali and Eddie's wedding at the ruins in Killin. The beautiful ceremony, held in a green forest among the ruins, had a truly magical atmosphere. I won't soon forget this unique location. Beach in Fort William and Stunning Photos by a Shipwreck
Just an hour's drive from Glencoe, you'll find the beautiful Fort William beach, the perfect spot for your dream wedding. With a shipwreck as the backdrop, you can see the Scottish Highlands and Ben Nevis in the distance. It was at this location that I was able to capture one of my favorite photos to date.
