As a wedding photographer, I have had the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful venues in Glasgow. Pollokshields Burgh Hall is certainly at the top of that list. After more than two years, I had the pleasure of returning to this wonderful venue for the wedding of Rachel and Joel.
Captivating Bride Preparations at Pollokshields Burgh Hall
I arrived at the venue early in the morning to photograph the bride's preparations. Rachel and her team, including a talented makeup artist named Lesley Neil, were calm and relaxed, making it a joy to capture the details of the day. From the wedding dress and rings to the final touches on Rachel's makeup, I was able to photograph it all.
Emotional Wedding Ceremony at Pollokshields Burgh Hall
The ceremony at Pollokshields Burgh Hall was filled with love and emotion, thanks in large part to the happy faces of Rachel and Joel. The beautiful light shining through the stained-glass windows created some truly special and touching moments. After the ceremony, the newlyweds were showered with confetti made of colorful flowers as they left the wedding room.
Delicious Dinner and Dancing at Pollokshields Burgh Hall
After a delicious dinner, it was time for the wedding cake and first dance. The dance floor at Pollokshields Burgh Hall was packed all evening, thanks to the excellent DJ skills of David.
Innovative Wedding Photography in Glasgow
One unique element of Rachel and Joel's wedding was the use of phone flashlights in place of sparklers. I had the idea to try something new and creative, and Rachel and Joel were open to giving it a try. The result was a stunning and memorable photograph. As a photographer, it's important to me to push the boundaries and try new things, and couples like Rachel and Joel make that possible.
