Melissa & Connor's Boclair House Hotel Wedding: A Glasgow Destination Wedding Photographed by a Local Photographer

Another fantastic place on my map of Scottish venues was the Boclair House Hotel, which is located in Bearsden Glasgow. The place is truly magical and made a huge impression on me. This is where Melissa and Connor decided to say "I do" and where I, as a local wedding photographer, had the pleasure of capturing their special day.

Wedding preparations at West End Belhaven Hotel

Melissa's preparations took place at the West End Belhaven Hotel, located about 15 minutes from the Boclair House Hotel. The Belhaven hotel is located near the Botanic Garden in a very quiet neighborhood, and it's a perfect spot for capturing stunning bridal preparations images. I had a lot of fun photographing Melissa's preparations there, and I had a lot of time to use the large windows in the hotel to photograph the dress and wedding details using natural window light. Of course, once again I witnessed one of the most touching moments for me, the "first look" with the bride's father.

Fairytale ceremony at Boclair House Hotel

As I wrote above, Boclair House Hotel made a great impression on me. Its elegant interior, which was decorated by Bospoke Touches, put us in an amazing mood. The wedding ceremony was beautiful and was conducted by one of the best Scottish wedding celebrants Paul Browett, humanist. After the ceremony, we went for a group and formal photo session
