Elopement Wedding Photographer Scotland - Capturing Matea and Bryson's Pre-Wedding Adventure in the Scottish Highlands

Matea and Bryson are a lovely couple from South Carolina who chose Scotland as the destination for their elopement wedding. As their chosen elopement wedding photographer in Scotland, I had the privilege of documenting their amazing pre-wedding adventure from Edinburgh to Glen Etive.

Pre-Wedding Photoshoot at Dean Village, Edinburgh

We began our photoshoot early in the morning, as we had a full day planned exploring the Scottish Highlands. Dean Village in Edinburgh is a charming location, and we were fortunate to have clear, sunny weather for our shoot. We spent over two hours in Edinburgh, taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings to capture some stunning photographs of Matea and Bryson.

Photoshoot in the Magical Glencoe

Our first stop in the Scottish Highlands was the well-known Glencoe, a place that holds a special place in my heart as a photographer. It was a pleasure to photograph Matea and Bryson in this breathtaking location, as they took in the beauty of their surroundings for the first time. As the sun began to set, the light filtering through the mountains and clouds created a truly magical effect in our photographs.

Capturing the Beauty of a White House in Glencoe

We next made our way to a picturesque white house in Glencoe, a true showcase of this breathtaking region. We hiked up to a nearby vantage point to capture the stunning view of the valley below, before heading down to the cottage itself for some intimate shots. Both Matea and Bryson were clearly moved by the beauty of this location, and it's easy to see why - the views truly are breathtaking.

Capturing the Golden Light of Glen Etive

As the day came to a close, we made our way to Glen Etive, a place where you can truly experience the wild beauty of Scotland. The light here is always unique, and on this occasion it was particularly special as the sun began to set. Both Matea and Bryson were captivated by the landscapes, and I was able to capture some truly stunning photographs of them in this amazing place.

Overall, it was a day full of adventure as we drove over 500 km, but it was well worth it for the incredible memories and photographs we were able to create. As a wedding photographer in Scotland, I am constantly inspired by the breathtaking beauty of this country and the couples who choose it as their elopement destination.
