Rachel and Ryan, Wedding at Fruin Farm, Helensburgh Scotland

Fruin Farm is situated almost directly on Loch Lomond and only 45 km from Glasgow.
It is a place that will stay in my memory for a long time. If you are looking for a fantastic farm with a barn for your wedding ceremony, then this is the place for you.
I can honestly say this is one of the best wedding venues I have come across on my Scottish wedding map.
But we'll start at the beginning.

A rustic wedding in a Scottish barn

Rachel's preparations took place near Fruin Farm at Duck Bay Lodge with a spectacular view of Loch Lomond.
Rachel had every detail perfectly matched. The beautiful bouquet of flowers prepared for her by the Floral Menagerie perfectly fit into the entire decor.
While Rachel was preparing a make-up -Jennifer Mathieson Make-u artist, I went to the farm to see Ryan's preparations and photograph the details.
The farm made a great impression on me. On the spot, I met once again with the Floral Menagerie, who decorated the barn in a beautiful rustic style. I would like to add that the barn was built of stone which added to the atmosphere.

Fruin Farm - Mini zoo, i.e. alpacas, llamas and farm animals

There is a mini zoo behind the farm. We find alpacas, chickens and other household animals there. It is a great idea to spice up your guests' free time, especially children.
The wedding ceremony took place in a beautiful atmosphere. For me as a photographer, it got pretty crowded when all the guests arrived, but I can honestly say that in a long time I wasn't so happy taking pictures, the photos were taken by themselves. I was not bothered by the lack of space. Small windows and candles gave the ceremony a fairytale atmosphere.

Wedding photo session at Loch Lomond

After the ceremony, we went to photo sessions. The hour was quite early, around 4 p.m., but since it was already October and the sun was setting quite quickly, we decided not to wait until late. The weather on that day was changeable. There was sun, and in a moment, it was raining. When we went to the photo session, the sun came out over Loch Lomond and very dark clouds appeared in the background. As a result, the light was perfect for shooting. The session was fantastic!
After the photo session, we went to dinner, where all the guests were waiting.
At around 8 p.m. the first dance and cake cutting took place.
I can confidently say that a Fruin Farm wedding is in my Top 10 Best Wedding Destinations in Scotland.
You don't believe?
