Summary of the wedding season 2021 | Wedding photographer Scotland
The end of 2021 is fast approaching, so I think this is the best time to summarize this season.
Despite the rather difficult beginning of the year, which started with the restrictions and limitations related to Covid-19, it ended as best it could for me.
Why? I invite you to the summary of the year 2021.
Weddings that allow me to visit Scotland all the time
This year, the variety of my weddings in Scotland was really great. I started with a garden wedding in Greenock. Where I met fantastic people who, despite the restrictions, did not give up and decided to get married in their parents' garden.
The wedding was really beautiful and touching.
Another wedding venue that stuck in my memory is The Cruin. This is a beautiful restaurant situated on the shores of Loch Lomond. The atmosphere of this wedding was really amazing, especially because it was a Polish-Italian wedding exactly the day after winning the final Italy-England.
Just 1km from The Cruin there is a beautiful venue, Fruin Farm, where I also had the pleasure to photograph. This place has an amazing atmosphere. There is a bar where Rachel and Ryan got married and right outside the window there is a mini zoo where you can visit alpacas and llamas. The place is perfect for a boho-style wedding.
If you are looking for a wedding venue near Loch Lomond, I can highly recommend it to you.
Glasgow Wedding Venues
The next places on my map in Glasgow are amazing places like Pollokshields Burgh Hall - it is a place only 2 km from the center of Glasgow and the atmosphere in it is amazing. That's where Rachel and Joel got married.
Have you heard about House for An art Lover ? Also, a lovely location close to Glasgow city center. With a beautiful garden. If you are looking for places near Glasgow, I would recommend them.
This year I was in different places, but I think that we would not have enough time to describe everything, so I invite you to my blog.
Wedding photographer Iceland
One of the highlights of this year was my participation in the Roadie Workshop in Iceland.
Yes! Iceland is the dream of most photographers. That's why I decided to participate in a fantastic workshop organized by Way Up North. I spent 4 magical days in Iceland with two fantastic couples. It was in Iceland that I managed to take the best photo of the year 2021. Thanks to this trip, I was able to build a fantastic portfolio and I went a level higher in photography. Each of my new clients is very impressed with the photos from Iceland. Thanks to Way Up North, I gained new clients from Canada and the United States, among others, and at the same time I got a huge kick in my ass.
Destination wedding photographers conference - Copenhagen
But it didn't end in Iceland. Thanks to my trip to Iceland, I met fantastic people and won a ticket to a conference of destination wedding photographers organized by Way Up North.
Just at the end of the season in November 2021, I went to Copenhagen for a conference where I could listen to some of the best photographers in the world, learn about new technological innovations and even test new Nikon lenses that I decided to introduce in the 2022 season.
I ended the season in Copenhagen at an event organized by Wooden Banana, where we all had fun until morning.

So, you can see that despite the restrictions, 2021 was my best photo year in my career. I hope 2022 will be even better and the energy I brought from Iceland and Copenhagen will be used 100%.
Cheers
