Imagine capturing a Polish-Italian wedding just after Italy wins the Euro 2021 final – that's exactly what I had the pleasure of experiencing! The atmosphere was truly electric.
A Heartfelt Polish-Italian Wedding
Marta and Mariano, the couple at the center of this special day, chose to exchange their vows at the beautiful Roman Catholic Church of St Francis Xavier's in Motherwell. The church left a lasting impression on me with its grand architecture, particularly the soaring ceiling which I tried my best to capture in the photos.
A Wedding Photo Session at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
After the emotional ceremony, while the guests headed to the reception, Marta, Mariano, and I decided to take a trip to the center of Glasgow for their wedding photo session. Our first stop was the Glasgow Cathedral, a stunning location that offered endless photography opportunities. The architecture and beautiful weather even made me feel like I was back in Italy for a moment.
A Surprise Stop at an American Street Set
Before arriving at Kelvingrove Art Gallery, we stumbled upon a surprise – the set of an Indiana Jones movie being filmed on the streets of Glasgow, transformed into an American street. Of course, I couldn't resist the opportunity to snap some unique photos.

After a quick photo session at Kelvingrove, we headed to The Cruin Loch Lomond restaurant for more pictures. This charming restaurant is located on the shores of Loch Lomond and boasts a secluded atmosphere, thanks to its location away from the main road and other amenities. The restaurant also features a pier with views of the Scottish Highlands, which made for the perfect backdrop for the photo session.
