Photo session/ elopement Torpedo Range in Arrochar
Have you ever thought about elopement wedding? About the place where you will be alone? About the place where you will be alone with the photographer and no one has had a session there yet? Wedding session or outdoor wedding (elopement)
Scotland has tons of places like this!
Unusual wedding session
Today I'll show you a mysterious, abandoned place - Torpedo Range in Arrochar.
Kasia and Lukasz met me earlier, I had the opportunity to photograph their beautiful sessions at Glen Etive and at the ship wreck - Fort William.
This time, thirsty for new photos, they asked me to cooperate again, but it was supposed to be something new, something original, something that had not been there yet.
So it came out at the Torpedo Range in Arrochar (56 ° 11'49.3 "N 4 ° 45'44.0" W).
I came across this place quite by accident thanks to my friends. I did not find any information on the internet regarding previous wedding or engagement sessions at this place, which meant that I found a unspoiled place.
Mystery, fog and a great photos
We drove from Glasgow about 50 minutes. We took our time because our plan was to reach the golden hour. After reaching the place, it turned out that the sky was too cloudy, so there was no golden sun. The Scottish weather, on the other hand, gave us a different surprise. The weather was quite foggy, thanks to which it gave the torpedo range an amazing mysterious atmosphere.
I felt fantastic when taking pictures of Kasia and Łukasz. Fantastic people, fantastic place and the weather.
Photographer's work from the perspective of a filmmaker
As a wedding photographer, I have a lot of ideas. One of them was making a movie and showing my clients what my job looks like. That's why my dear friend and also the best cinematographer I know - Chris Scheriz went with us.
And I’m proud of...
In the film, of course, I talked about the work of a wedding photographer.
The photo session in Torpedo Range - Arrochar turned out to be a very good idea, I think I realized 100% because one of the photos from this session was included in the list of the best photos of the month in the list of the prestigious Photobug Comunity magazine.
