Scotland is a country where every place has something magical. Scotland is not only the Highlands, Skye or Fort William.
Scotland, with its two large cities, Glasgow and Edinburgh, has a population of around 5.5 million and the rest is a wilderness perfect for photography.
One of the places I had the opportunity to photograph in West Scotland was Ayr Beach.

Amazing views, a wonderful beach and the golden hour - that's what Paullikes the most.
We met with Magda and Marek about 1.5 hours before sunset. The car park is about 20 minutes from the beach so a bit of a walk. When we got there we were rewarded with beautiful views.
As befits the sessions, we started with a short warm-up, i.e. getting to know the camera, discussing a few ideas and an action plan.
And we started. First, a gentle lead by a couple in love on the beach at low tide until that golden hour.
Magic pictures in Scotland
I knew it would be okay. I just wanted to confirm this by checking the photo on the camera and here's the shock… The shot was super good, everything turned out perfect. The color of the sky, reflecting the water and emotions that the steam showed me.
To diversify the time of a couple in love, I suggested drinking champagne just after sunset. The discarded tree turned out to be the perfect photo spot! I didn't have to do more, because Magda and Marek played the whole scenario perfectly, forgetting that they were being photographed. The emotions they show, a sincere smile, and most of all the love that reigns between them gave me a really delightful material.
I invite you to watch.
Ayr Beach near Glasgow, Scotland is one of my favourite location for any kind of photo session. Magda & Marek who are getting married in May this year loved the idea of having their pre wedding shoot at this beautiful spot. Enjoy!
